How do vet ranks affect exp per mob?

I'm on console so unfortunately i don't have those must have adds so i can't just kill stuff and check.

I'm vet 2 about to finish cadwell silver (it's an alt, going to grind to vet 14), just curious if i should find a grind spot in my silver (AD) instead of getting to gold and going my vet 9 mobs that i usually grind.

Does the 5 level/rank rule still apply in vet ranks? or do i get exp for all.

Will it be better to grind to vet 5 or 6 in Silver before grinding the Vet 9 mobs in Gold?

XP rules for VR are the same as 1-50, so yes, the +/-5 window applies .. which is the reason you'll see VR14s grinding VR10 mobs in the final 'gold' zone.

So it is the closer lvl i am to the mob the more exp i get per mob or is it as long as i;m 5 ranks with in it i get the same exp?

e.g. Would i get more exp killing vet 5 mobs as a vet 4 or more exp killing vet 9 mobs as a vet 4?

When I made this thread last week, thexasnwer I got and people agreed with was:

Within 3 levels = 100% xp
Within 4 levels = 75% xp
5 or more levels difference = 30% xp.

Quite a few people agreed with it.

The no xp outside 5 levels rule stops at 45 as far as I'm aware

Right so grind silver until vet 6 then.
