1,288 Completed Quests: Current Maximum?

I've completed 1,288 quests. This includes every pve quest that I could find, all of the Cyrodiil scout quests, and all of the Cyrodiil capture quests. So as far as I know, that's the current maximum number of quests.

Sounds about right mate. Give or take a few. At this point, you cannot reach indomitable adventurer until future dlcs

Yes and no. If you have at least 1,000, you technically have it as of next update.

A bit of reading comprehension might help. I said, "At this point" (as in pre-update 7) and when I said "future docs" (this include update 7). So technically I was right.

1288 is definitely not the current maximum. I have 1302 and according to my spreadsheet, I have about 18 repeatable quests remaining in Cyrodiil which I may or may not have done in the past, that I'm now redoing just to make sure.

P.S. The IC DLC reduces the Indomitable requirement from 1500 to 1000. This change is ridiculous. A player doesn't even need to complete all PvE quests in the three factions (including Cadwell Silver/Gold) to reach this amount. In other words, you could avoid Craglorn and Cyrodiil entirely. None of the "achievements" in this game really live up to the definition of the word.

FYI, some repeatable quests grants you progression in this achievement, regardless if you've already done them once.

Update 7 isn't a DLC game pack. You can reach Indomitable without any additional purchases... just not for a few more weeks.

So "yes and no." No need to butthurt brah.
