What upgrade mats do I need?

MerlinGambino
This may come off as a dumb question. I'm a V5 player who literally hasn't spent anytime crafting. I have someone willing to craft me full Ancient Elf Magnus gift light armor, all I need are the crafting materials and upgrade mats. Could anyone tell me how much of what upgrade mats I need to obtain or how to find out for myself? Yes I know this is a very newbie question but like said I haven't had any time to learn or put into crafting, thanks.

If you have all the Temper Passives (and you do want these otherwise improving things is absurdly expensive)

    2 Greens
    3 Blues
    4 Purples
    8 Yellows

    Per Item

You need to improve each item in sequence, so going to Purple means Green, then Blue, then Purple. A lot of crafters make things Green anyway as we are swimming in them (I have a 800 plus greens for each equipment craft). But this does not apply to all crafters.

It is going Blue and Purple that costs.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"
