Explosion near Death

Hi. Whenever I loose health in combat and it becomes low - there is an explosion causing my death most of the times. I don't know if this has to do with my skill sets or armor. Anyone knows why this is happening and what I can do to stop this. Appreciate

Everytime? Or in PVP? If a curse is put on you, depends on the morph can take 3.5-6 seconds before it explodes causing X amount of damage.

Happens when I am doing quests (not pvp). Probably curse from enemies. Thanks ..... makes sense

You put a point in the soul magic passive that make you blow up doing aoe damage at low health

Yes found it . Soul Shatter. Damm . Anyway I can remove a passive skill ?

The explosion doesn't cause your death, so there is no need to remove it. You are just taking damage anyways, and you'd die without this passive. The explosion damages any enemies around you when you get to 20% health, not you.
