And don't forget that you can close each anchor pinion to heal/restore yourself during the fight. Of course some mobs are worse than others, Harvesters used to give me a royal pain, Liches as well, but eventually you learn how to fight them then soloing dolmens becomes fairly routine.

I will admit when the game first launched dolmens were way harder and they were difficult to solo. Now, I find you can solo most of them as long as you keep on your toes. Still, it is nice to have help when it's available.
This ^ why aren't you using soul gems (or the world passive if you have done some of the Main Quest) to rez on the spot? I mean it's understandable not to use a soul gem if you are a near a wayshrine, but not using one and complaining that you rez a long way off sounds like the perfect time to use one.
Good tip, empty soul gems can be stolen from most mystic stalls in towns where they are outdoors, and it costs nothing to go find some mudcrabs to fill them. You can also get empty ones from enchanter writs, locked chests, and either full or empty from boss drops in delves.
