I find it's so obscurely placed that nobody is ever around when it drops. Then, when I inevitably get murderised, I spawn at a Wayshrine a million miles away Am I missing something or does anybody else have this problem? Sorry for my little rant

Yeah I'm going to, it's just frustrating doing a public event alone I'm a completionist as well as an RP-er so it throws me off my groove, haha

If you're getting wiped at dolmens then you're probably getting killed by mobs out in the wild. That's all dolmens are now -- a series of mobs. And don't forget that you can close each anchor pinion to heal/restore yourself during the fight. Of course some mobs are worse than others, Harvesters used to give me a royal pain, Liches as well, but eventually you learn how to fight them then soloing dolmens becomes fairly routine.

Come over to console. It's so crowded on PS4 NA EP that as soon as a dolmen drops or world boss respawns, you have to sprint for it before it's taken down.

Heh I had same problem at a diff anchor on my noob today. Every time I ran back I was worried someone else had finished it before I got back.

I'm on par level-wise and know I just need to return to it when I'm buffed up a bit more. I've been too late with the health potions as sometimes it lags a bit, then the Wayshrine it sends me to is so, so far away

I'm on console! I've not had any issues with other Anchors in other Alliances. Just this one in Stonefalls. It probably is just me getting frustrated

This ^ why aren't you using soul gems (or the world passive if you have done some of the Main Quest) to rez on the spot? I mean it's understandable not to use a soul gem if you are a near a wayshrine, but not using one and complaining that you rez a long way off sounds like the perfect time to use one.

Good tip, empty soul gems can be stolen from most mystic stalls in towns where they are outdoors, and it costs nothing to go find some mudcrabs to fill them. You can also get empty ones from enchanter writs, locked chests, and either full or empty from boss drops in delves.

On the NA PC server it seems most of the time I have to do the VR dolmens by myself. I will admit when the game first launched dolmens were way harder and they were difficult to solo. Now, I find you can solo most of them as long as you keep on your toes. Still, it is nice to have help when it's available.

If you ever want to team up just let me know, I am on PS4 and currently in Stonefalls (getting rid of old quests). I am definitely not the best LV 17 but am decent at weakening opponents and to some extent healing. I will most likely be online around 8 tonight you will have to lead the way of course (since I only saw the one next to ebonheart) and set the meeting place. PS: I currently don't use voice chat so sorry if I can't respond if you say something.

The only time i have to sweat on a dolmen that is at my level is when it drops a general.
Other than that, they're pretty easy to solo.

I'll see your Varanis and raise you Kingsguard in Glenumbra...the worst dolmen location that I've encountered so far.

I was using soul gems before I realised how many I was wasting for something I could go back to later. That said, I managed to do it. Despite how it may seem I am a good gamer, haha

or buy em from even grand soulgems unfilled are only 121 and filling them is so easy just takes a few mins to do
