Uh Oh...Red Text Mistake

So I was fiddling about, leaned on my controls and made a mistake in choosing the wrong 'red text' during dialogue. Now, is there anyway to reset this? I think I already know the answer but I don't want to commit murder :cry:

    If you haven't finished the quest yet, drop it and start over... if you have finished the quest that let you choose... it's murder ahoy.

    I haven't finished the quest but it won't drop it either. Been fast travelling everywhere. OH GOD! :anguished:

    ...Also, I added this here instead of 'Players asking Players' because it was a genuine mistake and I think there should be an "Are you sure?" once selected or something :tongue:

    Wait...I found the 'Abandon' button. Pressed it... now the quest has *completely disappeared* xD

    These are often towards the end of a chain quest. If the main quest chain is still open you should be able to abandon it. Unfortunately, you will have to redo the whole chain

    Yeah I abandoned it and went back to find the quest again. It worked though, thankfully! I didn't even know you could 'abandon' quests. Thanks for the help you guys! I can now live a murder free life! :smiley:

    That's true. Maybe I'll murder outside of quests. It's just the 'red text' murders that fill my pixelated heart with guilt. *Continues slaughtering bandits* :wink:
