Has anyone tried this in combat as a mean to trick opponents in a zerg vs zerg scenario to try and buy some time?

    Well ...... maybe ZoS can add some potion that simulate death you know no health bar and soul icon above the head for say "X" seconds.

    I've done this as a way to show someone in cyrodiil I didn't want to fight, hehe. Although, yeah, it won't work.. they will know you're still alive.

    They probably thought the person didn't want to fight, and what's the fun in killing someone who just wants to lie on the ground? Pretty cheap if you ask me

    At level 12 the person might have been new to the game. But still pretty funny as the other guy was hiding behind a tree. At lease it wasn't a lusty argonian maid trying to distract you with dancing or playing damsel in distress.

    It works if your a dragon knight with dragon leap. I played dead right in front of the castle doors and a player saw me I dragon leaped him and knock him into the wall and went back to playing dead it was a lol moment :).

    I had it work one time for me when I did not want to get crushed by a zerg that was running my scroll back to thier keep so I played dead by the side of the road, another time it almost fully worked until a magical arrow from a archer who was just firing forward came and hit me but before that at least ten people ran past me
