Grim Focus morph

Relentless focus from the assassin line regenerates stamina. Why isn't this skill a stamina morph? It honestly should be because it makes sense. I'm just saying.

Well, a skill that costs stamina to regenerate stamina, isnt always the best thing :)

Exactly. If you are using it to get stamina back, why would you want it to cost you even more stamina?

It's great that it costs magicka, at least for stamina builds. For magicka builds it shouldn't be that much of a deal.

It's not even expensive, and magicka builds also use it, particularly in PvP.
    Unfortunate magicka warden main.

I should mention, on the PTS with 43 points in stamina, 0 in magicka, and some random new medium armor set equipped, Relentless Focus's tooltip after 4 light attacks was 12.8k damage. Methinks they made it scale off of highest stat, or they just gave it a really high base and small scaling so stamina people could use it too.

That's why I felt it should be a stamina morph. Not for regen but it's a good skill that should scale from stamina. Last night after raising my magicka about 4k with food the damage went up about 800 points. I'm a tank so my magicka is low. It just seemed to me like a good skill if it was a stamina morph.

NB already have 4 stamina morphs, anymore and stamina based dks, Templars, and sorcs lose their collective minds.

Pfff they will be OK. Another stamina morph won't hurt.

Scale on the highest stat but maintain its magicka cost. Having stamina to gain stamina just doesnt make sense to me. But I would love to have a stamina morph of that ability. Merciless resolve looks to me to be the better choice for a stamina morph then relentless resolve.

It would then be a utility skill for the magicka based NightBlades, aloowing them to maintain their primary resource for more damage output.

It kind of makes sense. Whirling blades from dual wield regenerates stamina.

That is true but the returns are paltry and it is from a weapon skill line which uses stamina in the first place. I hardly ever see anyone using whirling blades except at low levels where the knowledge of the morph has not yet been handed down to them.

Giving it more thought I really feel merciless resolve needs to be the stamina morph. This will help with both magicka and stamina builds on having more options. It will also balance the stamina build, after already having rally / hidden blade, evil / camou hunter all scale to stamina, this is one of the options for stamina regen to be using magicka. Not to mention the Dodge roll drawback come update 1.7

    ZOS, go ahead bro.

P.S. Good to know about whirling blades because it seems like something that any melee dps that's isn't Nightblade would want to use that.
