I wanted to try Windows 10 before installing it as my daily driver. I found an old HDD, installed it, and performed a clean install of Windows 10. I now want to try ESO under Windows 10. First of all, I don't understand why I have to redownload the entire 30+ GB or whatever the client consists of. This seems terribly inefficient and inconvenient. I assumed that I could just run my existing install, which is stored on a data partition, and do a repair. That apparently makes too much sense and doesn't work. Even better would be an option to download the FULL client and install it wherever I want, but that doesn't appear to be an option either. I then decided to download the installer and reinstall the game to my data partition in a separate directory specifically for my Windows 10. That also doesn't work. The installer says that there isn't sufficient space even though the data partition has 130 GB free. I created a directory for the install on the data partition and copied the installer to that directory and ran it, but I still get a disk space error. The ESO installer never asks me where I want the game installed. It keeps trying to install to the system drive, which does not have enough space. It's starting to seem like it's too much trouble to play ESO anymore.
