Critical Rush is a guaranteed critical doe.

.... You mean Ambush? and yes, it grants empower, so hit from stealth for high dmg, then the next one will be like 6k at least, probably will crit as well, for 8~12k dmg, no big deal.
Same with Critical rush, damage (wich is always crit) increases based on distance travelled, so yea. Keep bolt escaping away. we love it.

People in this thread already called Surprice attack ( a meele skill, that yes, hits 10k+, but is meele ) a gap closer, so you'd need a bit more to give this thread a bit moar credibility ^^

Agreed, but I also think it is a non issue currently anyway. because, yeah, they hit hard, but other moves hit way harder.

It is not lag. Gap closers temporarily stun target until animation finishes and attackers lands at your postiion, then you can move (or act; it seems to me that ability to perform actions other than movement is also somewhat impaierd) again. Which is btw why Immovable sucks so hard compared to Mist Form which by virtue of making you semi-invisible also protects you from this stun (lock).
As for the spam - inevitable result of poor design, because resources regen keeps going up while ability costs down as you gain levels/VRs and gear (and as cap keeps going up as well) and accumulate CPs.

If a Nb is just spamming his gap closer (teleport strike(ambush) he is actually bad at his character, other abilities hit much harder, use less stamina, and better effects.
They should only use Ambush once, then use Surprise attack or Concealed weapon as they do more damage.
