Achievement/Quest question

So I put this up in another forum but with no response anywhere I figured I would try my luck here now.

Hey guys. So I know this has been asked before but my searches did not turn up anything recent. Sorry in advance.

I hit Vet rank a week ago. Today I started doing Cadwells silver. So I was questing in the EP starter zone and went to Bleakrock. Did a few quests and then just turned in a close one. Turns out that was the main quest and the island evacuated. Then a guidie told me there was an achievement for saving everyone.

I did not. Is it still possible for me to go back and save the other 13 people I missed? Or am I just screwed out of that achievement? I had no idea it existed until I was told and it is bugging me that I don't know if I can.

The thread I found said you cannot but I also noticed some people hinting that you can still complete it. I am looking for a actual answer though.

did you look in your achievements to see if it is listed there?

Yes. The achievement says that I rescued a few of them. The achievement still shows but can I still get it?

Sadly I believe you will not be able to get that achievement on that character - once you have progressed the story it locks you to whatever state it was in.

This achievement is not obvious and it's very easy to fail it unless you specifically look at the achievement tab priopr to actually doing anything on Bleakrock.

That seems...Like a poor game mechanic. I was tired and wanted to turn in one more quest before I slept and that happened to be the closest. That is lame if I am locked out from completing it.

Yeah,you cant go back and finish it now.Always,if you leave a xone without seeing the big pop up saying you have achieved the "Hero of Bleakrock',you arent finished with it.In any zone you will get that notification popping up on the screen.So if you dont see it in an area,and think you're done with something,check again to make sure.I learned it the hard way once a long time ago. I check hard to not make that mistake again.

So. I was able to go back and get all but 1. One quest giver will not spawn and it appears to be bugged.

People if you were like me and skipped the quest YOU CAN DO IT!


You need to find someone who can pick it up and HAVE THEM SHARE IT WITH YOU!

I just got the achievement doing that.
