Events on console?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm curious if ZOS plans to run events for the console folk down the line?

The only player event I kicked off was when my Dark Elf had a bath on the balcony for all to see. Those lady Elves stampeded all before them.

Holy moly, I didn't even think about this in relation to events. My game crashes when voice chat gets too busy in towns where people are talking over each other. The game servers would probably explode if you instanced hundreds of voice chatters together. Another reason consoles need text chat. Wow.

Don't worry. The only events that ZOS has done so far were special-items-in-crown-store-for-national-whatever-day events.

What about events for PC? ZOS doesn't run any events at all.

They have run events on the PTS and they have run competition events like the orienteering event on PC.

I assume any event on console would be similar contest events. If you want regular events you will need to rely upon player created events in guilds.

What kind of events you want? We haven spoken about Tamriel's Holidays, minigames, duels, entertainers, guild finding, new and vet players meeting place. Also would tell us more about ES lore and improve the journey experience, we all agree it needs more stuff, only 9% have finished final chapter, maybe flying mounts could increase the spirit.

Right. I don't count the PTS because it's for their benefit, not the players'. But I completely forgot about the orienteering chalenge.

I was curious as watching a ZOS live stream on twitch they mentioned many events that they were setting up, on the pc of course, and wondered if they were thinking about running console events too.

Flying mounts would be interesting but you might as well go and play wow for that. With that 9%, don't forget many have transferred from pc to console and the console trophies do not usually transfer. They would have to go through the main story to unlock the trophy on console; so I would say that 9% is not an accurate number.

I didnt watch last ESO Live, so I don't know if they announced something new, but the usual event segment is about events organized by players. They just relay info about guild activity.
