Dual Wiedl & Surge

I am trying to figure how dual weapons interacts with the surge & its morphs. If someone knows I would appreciate the info.

So with Surge up:
1. On twin slashed does a critical proc the heal for the initial attack? I understand that the majority of the damage is disqualified since it is DOT.
2. Can all of the flurry attacks trigger procs? I had read elsewhere that flurry was disqualified because it is classified DOT. Sad since it is the only reasonable ST attack in the DW set.
3. Whirlwind, obviously it can only trigger for one affect target. I understand that AOE is what they were trying to break when we set up this mess at 1.6.
