Templar/magika/hey armor build help

I am level 48 soon to be into the vr rank and have noticed with healing I need alot of magika regeneration and reduce spell cost to make it the whole fight but seems like I get hit really hard and wanted to know is it possible to have a templar resto magika heavy armor build and still heal the same knowing your losing the light armor passives

you need CP, certain sets and skills to sustain as well as a light armour would but yes it is possible

im lvl 44 I am a heavy armor destro/resto staff user so far all points into magika cept 2,currently putting to hp to gain more survivability, and I never seem to run out of magika if I use the right skills. one of which I recommend using is blood alter. it has a synergy that allows ur teammates to gain 40% max hp I morphed it to its better version that allows 60% return. it is great to pop down because of the synergy so when you become low magikaor casting a channeled heal they can use the synergy for oh crap moments. also is good for when low on magika because you can use resto heavy attacks and regen mgika maybe pop a pot if you need/ its not on cool down. in all my time playing my Templar I have only used maybe 4-6 magika restore pots using that method. Not to mention the healing super that allows you some time to regen a little magika, I use the increased duration morph. also another good thing is the first skill for the resto staff. I forget name atm but it is an aoe heal over time skill that I use before we run into a group or boss so they will have that heal over time active when they start a fight. then pop a blood alter down and keep going as needed. hope this helps!

Edit: will say at current I need to use max hp foods so I an survive more due to me not putting many points into hp but other than that it is all good. I went heavy armor so I could put more points into magika with the added hp bonuses in heavy, currently lvl 50 heavy armor. and I have never hit vet levels so no cp also
