CP-Free Campaign Needed

One of the things I liked about pre-1.6 ESO pvp was the relatively level playing field. If you were a v14 with a lot of skill points and decent gear you could be competitive in ESO pvp. Even lower level players could be effective pre-1.6. However, as hardcore players earn more and more CPs, ESO pvp has become more and more imbalanced due to the growing CP gap between hardcore and casual players.

Suggestion: A CP-Free Campaign in Cyrodiil.

Everyone has no CP so we have a level playing field again in Cyrodiil.

Yeah this would be a great short time bandage (not a proper fix), I loved PVP even now in the pre-vet campaign but to do that I need to create a new character; I created my main for a reason and since I got to vet I've completely avoided PVP with this character. It'd be great to also make everyone on the same power level, similar to what they already do to help out the lower levels in the pre-vet campaign.

Like I said though, it's a short time bandage, the problem is the CP system and to properly fix the game this system needs to be removed.

    and replaced with???

It is fine to criticize and say you do not like something , but what are going to do for all the players who are currently earning CP and have accrued lots of it through hours of game play?

Non-CP Campaign/s seems like a fine Idea. This would satisfy all the people that dislike this grind of CP.

If you play this game past vr1 you gain CP. Anyone can gain it, please stop whining about something easily obtained.
CP is hardly a problem and is the new boogeyman people whine about. It is blown WAY out of proportion. Once you get passed 2-300 it falls off big time.

I have yet to be killed by anyone with tons of CP and then go "wow, his CP made this fight so difficult." No, rather, "damn, im such a noob, I should have blocked..." or something along those lines.

I find it sad that no matter what, there is always something to blame pvp failures on. If people are not accusing a class of being OP, it's an ability. If it's not an ability it's WW/Vamp. If it's not that, it's something else. Now it's CP. But this out of all the whining is the most disingenuous of them all.

    No it doesn't,

It just needs capping for PVP , CP system.is a great way to build high level characters , its also a great way to create league tables.

Depending on your number of CPs you can enter higher more challenging PVP arenas

The game needs additions not subtractions

Have you been testing large cp differences on 1.6 pts?
When 2 equally skilled players fight with one having 300 and the other 600+, the one with more cp will win everytime.
Just compare the effects of cp to some 5 piece set bonuses and you should know how much of a difference they can make.

Thank you. I am getting tired of people saying the rehearsed thingy: "After you have 300 CPs the effect is minimal, nur nur nur." Though I guess now the number is dropping to 200. lol

To refuse to acknowledge there is a significant difference in damage output and mitigation due to CP differential is the mark of a bad, for sure.

I would replace CP with a linked skill or buff system that forces players to make choices. For example you cant have both damage and crit and armor and spell damage. The current CP system allows players to stack everything.

Thats completely false. I have taken all my CP and disabled it and still wreaked all kinds of havoc in Cyrodiil.
The only stuff that gives more damage is found in the Blue trees anyhow. 25% physical damage increase (100 points in Mighty) Piercing (armor pen which is already done with Sharpened Maces/passives on live) and one for the Critcal Damage increase and a weapon one for heavy attacks whihc is probably the least important of the 4. I know tons of people who have disabled their CP and still gone in and done just fine so please stop with this nonsense. I am not using CP right now on PTS and I am still killing people who all have 300 and up. The same goes for live.

The truth of the matter is this is the new scapegoat. There is always some culprit to blame and right now CP is the easiest... what a joke.

@TheBull bro even if we recorded us ganking people with our CP disable they would still make some horseshit excuse at why we were doing well, some stupid reason unable to accept that CP is not the boogeyman they make it out to be. It is so tiresome.

Thinking that ganking would proof anything is just cute, as per definiton, your chances of "victory" are already higher from the start. Same if I would do 1vX without CP, trying to proof anything with that ignores the fact that the players I am fighting already have to be a lot less skilled than myself.
Also, don't make the mistake to think CP will just increase the strength of your current build, add some damage or stats.
As with the infinite resources, and even as part of that problem, a high amount of CP allows to specialise a build more than with less CP, for example actually lower defenses compared to the low CP build were possible, to increase damage even further and literally one shot people. Or build for such high stat pools on a Sorc that you can simply skip regen stats and always have enough resources left to bolt away when you need to regen.
In fact, when bearing this in mind, it is no surprise that a high CP character (1500+) can actually be stronger than the same char with low CP but emp.

So yeah, I am also getting tired of all the people who never actually tested and thought about what is possible defending a mechanic that hurts the game balance more than any other.

Why only 1 campaign? That would be a capitulation to ZoS's failed PvP concept.

I would make ALL PvP related activities CP free. Would make balancing much easier.

Jesus you complain a lot. They're working on the possibility of this, but aren't sure. Obviously it is needed. Roll another room and stay under 50 where less people have cp and stop complaining.
