Players, on average, only get 80-100 CP from VR1 to VR14. You'd have to be grinding non stop for days to have 300 CP that soon.

You sure they were not pc transfers?
Why do you care how people decide to play the game. I would imagine a lot of them are into PvP and just want to be able to do more at VR 14. Not everyone is here for questing.
In Guild Wars 2 I did not run one dungeon, I was in WvW the whole time.
Everyone is different, and it shouldn't affect you either way, unless they are turning you into a pile of ash in PvP in five seconds.

I'm a PS4 player and there were already people at VR levels by the end of the first couple of days of launch. What's the fun in that? In my mind, one misses on the game as it was meant to be played. Why do a level 32 quest when you are sitting at VR-1? And not too mention that you probably got there by spamming mobs playing Blackwater Blade in the loot cave--in my mind that is awfully close to either an exploit or cheating, possibly both. It would seem that the "hardcore" gamers out there simply want to spend their lives playing these games to dominate PvP and monopolize the economy, therefore making it un-enjoyable for the casual gamers like myself who play maybe 4-5 hours a week. Again, what's the rush?
