New Motif Ideas

I do know about the motifs coming with the DLC, and there are some rumors about glass motifs. But I'd like to see:

Maomer Falmer
Ancient Chimer Ancient Nord
If anyone has any ideas, just post them bellow.

Ancient Nord(nede) is coming as a costume currently, and will likely be expanded later. I don't believe they have a full "motif" for them yet. (From the quest in stone falls)

Falmer(Snow Elves) not Falmer (corrupted) would be pretty long lost and could be done with some DLC.

Maormer would be fantastic, even though it's just a sleeveless, slightly re colored Ancient Elf, it would be nice to show off the tattoos you can put on your character.

Chimes didn't look that different from current dunmer(from the quest again) they could redo them sure...

I'd really like to see the Worm Cult motif craftable too.

They could go with Bonemold. I don't remember exactly how old that stuff is, though.

That said, there's already a serious bonemold vibe from the normal Dunmer motif. So... *shrugs*

Yeah, the current dunmer motif sort of looks like some of the bonemold armors in previous games, but they could probably work bonemold in as the Heavy option of an Ashlander motif, since the current medium Ashlander armors are clearly Chitin.

I guess they could do guild motifs, but those seem to be coming eventually if the datamine is to be believed.

I'd be happy with a craftable medium helm that looks like a hood. Most of the current medium helms look kinda goofy...

My vote on this topic is Mithral, styled after the ES:IV Oblivion variants. Best looking armor to date in the Elder Scrolls universe.

Light head pieces are almost always hoods. You'll loose some stealth, but you make up for it in style.

Agreed. Only medium help I like, atm, is the Daedric helm, however. I feel like it's too "trendy", so I tend to turn off the display of my helm. Having switched from stamina to magicka, wearing a hood has been a nice change of pace and the dwemer style helm is really nice.

Are the falmer in eso the same as the ones in skyrim im comfused because the dwemer made them blind but there allready gone way before eso

There are no Falmer in ESO; but Falmer, is just the "proper" racial name for the Snow Elves, the name simply stuck after they had been turned into the monsters you see in Skyrim by the Dwemer.

They are the same race - before and after a few thousand years of eating poisonous mushrooms and living underground.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dragon bone/scale style.
Doesn't have to be specifically Dragon bones and scales for lore purpose.
Wamasu parts could do.

Or, have that one future Dragon boss drop a motiff for Dragon style.
That ONE Dragon boss. Because dragons are busy making themselves scarce/forgotten.

In other words, the corrupted Falmer evolved from the uncorrupted Falmer, no they're not currently the same race, they've diverged too much, but that's not what that sentence was stating.

Aldmer (First Elven Race)
Stahlrim (Ice armor)
Draugr (Dead Nords, but probably won't happen)
Some of the Argonian clan armors
The Akivri race armors: Tang Mo, etc.
