The Cinematic Supercut...

It's hard to tell at first which characters are representing which alliance, but it becomes fairly clear. The female elf is obviously the Dominion, and the Nord is obvious as well. But, the man dressed in black and gold, is he a Breton? And does he turn evil halfway through, after the battle at the anchor, or is he just a necromancer? I know this isn't all that relevant, but I'm curios just the same. Haha. Also, I gather that the Elf is the only one that truly survived through the whole scene? She's a tough one, she is.

I believe what happened is that he was killed and subsequently zombified.

Uh yes the man in black and gold is a Breton and was fighting for the Daggerfall Covenant till some Dremora killed him and brought him back to life as Manimarcos undead slave and used him to lead the siege on city and was finally killed by the High Elf hero after the Nord hero left him to rot.

Ah, yes, the cinematic intro. Chock full of armor, skills, and a myriad of other things that don't exist in the actual game.

The heros armor are gonna be in the store and it be kinda OP if players had a green lighting whip thing that insta vaperised anything it touched.

The one thing that bothered me about that green whip of death was that it killed dudes in full armor all the time. Then the soontobe zombie guy used a shield to stop it.

    Wood > metal

flawless logic to me how it works in game now how wooden shields and even PJs provide better defense than full metal armor.

I have full faith that it would have been well nerfed by now to a mere tickle if it were included from the start :s
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

He gets cursed, essentially, and is released by the Altmer upon death. (Though an opposiing Alliance, it's implied that the Breton has a thing for the high elf, or perhaps just nobility in fighting the big oaf of a Nord vs engaging a lady?) The civility they show vs the Nord is very well done.

(Damn shame we can't set aside the Alliance differences in the right scenarios now. Would make for a more complex and interesting game.)

IMO when the Breton saw the Aldmeri Hero approach him during his final moments after he battled the Nord, he visualized her as (yet again this is how I see it) his love interest from times before the war, you can notice she is in purple dress and that Breton was holding this purple piece of the dress as in her memory. Maybe they were lovers and she died during a battle. So I'd say that instead of Breton falling in love with the Aldmeri hero, or simply having having a thing for her, we were supposed to be shown just the smallest piece of his history.

Today we make our stand. Today we take back the Ruby Throne, which is ours by ancient right and the blessings of the Divines.

    - A Dominion of peace. The fair and just rule of Tamriel
