Any tips for a magicka based DPS Templar?

Hello Everyone,

Normally I am a healing templar but I kinda want to switch things up a bit, therefore I am now asking what setups and skills would be good for the dps role.

I would very much appreciate any suggestions and try them out, since I would like to be more versatile with my character.

I know that radiant destruction is getting nerfed quite heavily in the next patch so the templar execution skill isn't exactly anything special anymore but make sure to use aedric spear abilities as well as backlash against any bosses to maximise damage output, luckily with a magicka dps templar you will have high magicka and could well make use of the class healing abilities to add more survivability to yourself.

Currently I am using Luminous Shards, Radiant Oppression, Backlash morp, dark flare and so fourth, but I would like some other inputs since I don't normally run a dps that is actually good for crowd control and single target dps

Even as magicka you still need stamina and everyone needs health, which gives Imperial the most flexible racial bonuses, can be used for either magicka or stamina builds.
