Could anyone point me in the right direction to some sort of guide as to how xp and alliance points are obtained/distributed in pvp campaigns? Obviously doing the repeatable bounties and quests award both, but say for example during a siege of a castle is it simply a matter of being in the area when it is captured that you are awarded for it, or do you have to stand by the 'flags' or say if you have been involved the whole time, get killed just before it has been made yours, and can't get back in time so miss the capture...does that mean you don't get the points for the capture? Or does everyone in the Alliance get the same?
Also, last night our alliance captured an elder scroll from an enemy castle. I was there for the siege, someone picked up the scroll then about 30/40 people all escorted it back. Would we have been accumulating points for just being close, and would we get anything for being around the temple when the scroll was put there? And again say if I died as it was being taken back and I missed the actual moment it was captured because I had to respawn at another castle would it be as if I was never there?
Sorry for the ramble on but I'm sure people will see what I'm getting at. I'm currently level 31 and I've played a lot of pvp and would say I'm half decent at it, but I really have no idea how it works in terms of scoring :S I seem to be racking up loads and loads of points but it would just be interesting to know exactly what you obtain them for.
Thanks if you made it this far!
