Why are there no base stats?

I am VR14 and all of my gear was broken while I was questing. I happened to notice that I had 0 physical resistance and 0 magic resistance. How is this possible? I am a templar and one of my passives gives me spell resist. Does this mean if we wear no armor we have no resistance, including our passives?

✭✭Usually your passives should work even when you are naked. So either you did a mistake or the Templar passive is bugged.0
