Can't create a guild need help

I am trying to make a guild on the PS4 but it keeps telling me that I have to leave a guild first before I can join another one. Anyone know why I am getting this error?

Are you already in five guilds? This is the cap.

Are you the leader of any guilds? You can only lead one.

No to both, I'm only in 2 guilds and am not the GM of either.

Try contacting customer support and see if they say anything.

Any latest developments from this post? I'm also having this problem. I am a member of 3 guilds (was 5 before leaving one to start my own then leaving a second to see if that helped, but with no luck)

Check to see if someone made you guild leader in one of the other guilds you're in maybe?

I was able to make a guild. I am a pc tranafer and could not create a guild on a character that transferred from the pc becauae I was in 5 guilds on the pc, but only 2 on ps4. Tech support says this can't be a ptoblem so I proved them wrong, I started a fresh character on the ps4 leveled to 10 and created a guild with no problems.

Something very wrong happened with the coding with the transfer system because this is not the only problem I have on my pc teansfer characters.

Thanks ghostwise, have done.
I've only been promoted to sell in store and claim resources for guild, two don't even let me sell in their store lol

I've not got ESO for PC so there shouldn't be any conflicting problem of which you speak, thanks for you input though, may help someone else who reads this.

Has anyone created a guild while also being part of a guild? That may be the problem. I hope I don't have to leave all the guilds just to try it out.

I hate to say this but it is likely a bug. I know there are some bugs that impact the PC which are not found on the console version(s); and vice-a-versa. Just make sure to report it; either through in game (/bug) or support so that it is on @ZOS radar.

I can't seem to create a guild either. Anyone know a fix for this?

Have a friend make the guild for you, then they can make you the Guild Leader. Ive had to do this for others.

Im still having this issue (been trying since July)
All of my toons (3 not in sig) have listed goods for sale in other guilds I am in so dont want to waste time getting them to lvl 10 if I can make a new toon & create a guild with that.
(Putting items for sale in other guilds is the only reason I think of causing this)

Not surprised this hasnt been fixed though..

EDIT - I left a guild so was only in 3 & I was able to create a new one.
