One thing I loves most about Skyrim was its level of customization. I wish there was a way to allow players in TESOTU to have that same level of customization. In specific, creating your own house and having a place to call "home". I'm curious to see the future of TESOTU for console and how it betters itself. Hopefully house building is a feature in the future. (Or give option to buy specific land then dwelling style and type)

I'd like a pocket home,like I had in Morrowind.It looked like a Jeannie's bottle when I sat it down.All I had to do was click on it and poof.I was inside.I had dummies to put collected sets of armor on,shelves for stuff,and cabinets for weapons,etc.When I was done,I came back out,picked it up and put it back into my inventory.

Really, not being jerks. If you'd be through the first wave of housing requests since the game was released and all the minor waves that followed you'd get upset as well. There's another housing topic that popped up today!

Really, not being jerks. If you'd be through the first wave of housing requests since the game was released and all the minor waves that followed you'd get upset as well. There's another housing topic that popped up today!

Been here since the start, and I'm not really upset. It makes me happy that people still want this and it is still a highly requested feature I too dream of ESO with housing!

I'm not too excited about housing in video games. It was fun in Skyrim for about a week. It was an utter disappointment in SWTOR. Don't even get me started on ArcheAge.

I'm not against it but also not really happy with seeing topics from recently created accounts always referring back to Skyrim. And in the end there are more important / probably more interesting things that can be added to the game. How about that spell crafting?!

I can understand the frustrations one had this game since it was released. Just no reason to sign up for forums. Until the DOS attack this last weekend.... I mean.. Login issues..

I really think there is no other MMORPG where housing can be more appropriate than TESTU! Both for the single player and for guilds, the possibility to "build" a simple and customizable house/keep would be delightful, fun, and a great activity to invest time in (by upgrading it with crafting tables, vendors, perhaps banker etc.).

The point of player homes in Skyrim was so that you had a place to store all of your stuff that you didn't want to carry around with you. In ESO, you have a bank to hold your stuff. I agree that it would be a cool thing to have, but looking at it from the developer perspective, is it something that is NEEDED in the game? Not really.

The bad thing with the bank is that it's limited capacity. If they were to make available for purchase using gold or crowns different furniture like cabinets, dressers, sacks, chests, mannequins, display cases, and so forth, it would be a great way to store everything instead of select objects.

That is, if they don't limit the item space in player homes either. Also, you can't go up to a random dresser and drop off non-essentials to free up inventory space like you can in Skyrim.

I don't see THIS happening. I think it'll be more like... Buy a box with 5 spaces. A chest with 20. A chest of drawers with 50...

Yeah , good in theory but not something I see them adding to the game at any point. With the exception of storage I really am not very interested in player housing. I rarely ever visited my places in Skyrim.

If housing was done like it was in SWG I am down for that. Player towns and stuff. Go wandering the world and find a house in the swamp...I miss that game.

If not player housing, then implement a guild hall. COH had them and they were pretty cool.

I would personally rather see housing added before spell crafting. Especially if ZOS takes hints from @Gidorick 's plan.

I am not a great housing lover however I think player housing adds a lot for people. It is a good non combat area of the system to enjoy and some people will spend hours decorating. They should do it where the entrance is not the same for each person's home, we can have different types depending where they are and maybe make them just foe eso plus customers

As much as I'd hate to see that happen, it would be a good incentive for people to subscribe. I'm not a subscriber as I cannot justify the cost for the minimal time I get to play and there's no real benefit to subscribing. This would give a real benefit. If they did make this a plus benefit, it'd be nice if it was given to everybody on some level. For example, non-plus members get standard run-of-the-mill homes with predefined floor plans, while plus members get access to mansions with customizable floor plans or even a build-your-own-from-scratch style house. Everybody should have the ability to decorate as they see fit, though.

On the other hand, I'd be more than happy to pay for a housing DLC if it gave us something like Hearthfire (but with even more options).

Well that is true, I think there's something to say for adding to a conversation rather than starting a new one.

Thanks for the nod @ShadowMage. I certainly would prefer a multi release plan with multiple different types of housing options. More people would get the type of home they want and we would get SOME housing sooner rather than later.

Please implement player housing and guild housing. If ESO just had this the game would be my home for a long time. As it is I'm bored with PVP right even right now. These new grinds they are implementing are not worth it and won't keep very many peoples interest. Building thing however would keep me here a long time in conjunction with the current systems.
