Ok, im feel 'real dumb. I have been playing for a while an i just hit vet 1 and i feel like somethings wrong, where is end game at. I did all the missions and such so whats up. Well apparently i ended up ditching the main story after only 3 quest and went rogue without even realizing it. I played for 3 and a half weeks and didn't even do the main story. Im wondering if anyone else has do e something similar

True end game is when you are bored enough to play something else
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Run, now. Save yourself while you can.

Even if you go back and do the main quest line to 'complete' it, you'll find you're only 1/3 of the way through this game.

The 'end game' comes at V14 and so far, it's not worth the effort.

People have to stop worrying about all this focus and rushing to 'endgame' rubbish and enjoy the journey.
Cliche cliche sure, but it's so true.
If you can be anything, be kind.

CP is first structure of endgame, sure this game is kind of confusing now as they havent removed VRs yet. Zen's vision endgame is that, well do all kind (fishing, thieving, crafting, adventure zones, trials, dsa, vet dungeons, cyrodil) of stuff for CPs, away from the typical raid this dungeon 3 month. At least from my understanding, who knows if Zen have changed their vision.

when you hit vr1 you are at endgame, although you cant farm all best gear yet, but all content is doable at that point

"Endgame" is a bad word for ESO right now. Once you have completed the Main Quest and hit Level 50, you have hit "Level Cap" and reached "Endgame (Part 1)". Then you are directed (but not completely forced) to do the official "Endgame" content in a specific order until you level up to "Veteran Rank Cap" and reach "Endgame (Part 2)".

Endgame (Part 1) consists of Cadwell's Silver and Gold, which are designed for VR1-VR10, and Craglorn, which is designed for VR11-VR14. Endgame (Part 2) consists of Trials, Pledges, and PvP, which are ostensibly designed for VR14. This system of "Levelling through Endgame" is a contradiction to what Endgame is supposed to be, so ZOS are planning on removing the "Veteran Ranks" so all Endgame content can be done as and when you feel like it, and you would no longer be directed through it in any particular order.
