Monster trophies

Just wondering how long it usually take people to get a monster trophy drop? I've been going for the achievements and have yet to get my first one (ive gotten them before, just never tried).... Is there an overall shared drop chance for all monsters or do they each have their own?

Each mob have their own drop chance. This is based on RNG, so good luck.

I completed the achievements - but let me tell you, that it took me a few kills to get one trophy, but there are others that took me hours and 3000+ kills to get another. It's just random.

Gone through long periods between different drops & yet to get them all on any char. As Qyrk said, RNG. Two chattering skulls dropped for me on Saturday within a few minutes of one another, while grinding.

Yeah, chattering skully seem to drop quite often, the rest... not so much. As in, definitely less then one percent chance of them dropping from my experience...

But at least you can send trophies you grab by chance on an alt to your main for finishing collections there...

Let me put it like this: I've been playing since early access (April '14) and am still missing about half the collectibles, including some I've specifically tried to farm for hours on end. I don't know if the chance to drop is the same for all collectibles, but I doubt it since I've killed hundreds of certain mobs with no luck, but it seems I get a drop every time I so much as look at some other mobs funny (I'm talking to you, dwarven spiders).
