What drains the Master's Weapons charge?

Im wondering what specifically lowers the charge and why it seems so low as I can not get through a vet dungeon on 1 charge

The special enchants on the Master weapons are still active even if the weapon is out of charges. No need to waste your soul gems.

while i do not know what exactly drains MW charges i know it is not entirely dependant on the use of the imporved ability. Even without ever using carve (or its morphs) my masters greatsword (which i only have on the PTS) lost carges. However that is hardly an issue to me, since the flat stat boost seems to stay applied even when the weaopn is out of charges.

I'm wondering if your loosing charge when you are effectively using the ability.

Say i proc'd the extra weapon damage with the Master Bow. All my attack's with the extra damage may be draining the enchant.

They drain so fast that I'm inclined to think every action with the weapon drains it. Destro staff drains even without the named spell on the bar. Luckily, the stat increases stay even when out of charge, and at least the resto seems to be giving the extra effect as well while empty.

Well I know the Master's Sword has no cool down on it's effect, so that would use a charge literally every time you use the melee taunt.

Does this go for the increased damage from the master bow while venom arrow is active on a target? Same for the master dagger's bonus damage for bleed. Honestly if that is the case that is broken
