Dear zos,
There are alot of problems in this game, but I recommend this one foremost. Please ban macro cheaters! Can we have some accountabilty please?
I believe if the cheating in this game was managed, then it would at least make other problems easier to be patient while u fix the next problems, (lag, mundus stone exploit, sorc magelight expolit, various class issues).
thanks for your time o:)

Sorry mate i really feel your pain but without deep changes in game mechanics there is really not much Z. can do. Granted its them who desigen the game in the first place.

Did you know if you put "ban, macro" in the search box you can see at least 14 pages of the same thing. Going back over a year minimum?

I would think at this point if ZOS could fix it, they would.

That said, posters have laid out how you can hit someone with multiple attacks per second and kill them before they can blink...no macro required. So I wonder what console people blame deaths on?

If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

It's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. Maybe when there are 15 pages of this, ZOS will notice.

Being hit with light, heavy, bash weaving, isn't the problem. Its the obvious macro users, and unfortunately it seems more people are joining the macro band wagon (can't beat em, join 'em mentality) But you are right, this has been brought up for so long, and ignored. This is ruining my immersion :'(

Originally I thought that everyone in PVP was using macro's because I died so easily it seemed from one shots. Now, I think that there are a few who use macros/cheats/exploits and should be banned for it.

I also believe, that Animation Cancelling is the biggest problem we face in PVP battles. This gives an unfair advantage when feared, snared or stunned as you cannot "animation cancel" out of those and with the PVP lag, it can take 1-4 seconds to break free. In most cases, a snare, fear or stun can be an instant death in a zerg fight.

If @ZOS cannot fix animation cancelling to also apply to "break free", then they should take steps to remove it from the game. It isn't "working as intended" and if the spells we had were supposed to be instant cast, they wouldn't have a timed effected on them in the first place.

The other huge problem in PVP fights is the weapon swap bar "locking" so you cannot cast any spells. It seems to only affect one faction in fights as the other can still cast, so I don't know if this is a "cheat" or what's causing it. It is associated with high ping rates as well so when you go from 150 to 999+, you can guarantee that you have this issue as well. A lot of people believe that it's a "laq switch" causing the problem. I don't know if there's any truth to this or not, but if there is, @ZOS needs to find a resolution for that as well.

Any "cheats, exploits or lag switches" that people need to use to win at a game are just really sad. If their skills are really that bad and the only way they can win is to cheat, maybe they should go try Solitare....

Also, does anyone have any proof of anyone getting banned for macro or exploiting? And what is up with when u do put a ticket in, that zos response is to put someone on ignore?

Apparently ZOS does very little about exploiters.

Last week we had topic about exploiting infinite monster spawn to farm materials.

The person who made post on official forum for the next days bragged every day how much they exploited that place.
Today i see that person still posting and probably not finding any punishment.

Wouldn't you think someone posting their exploits, etc would immediately get banned?

Cheaters will always find a way. If you fix one issue, they'll just find something else. It's the nature of the beast.

Exactly, yet person who posted that got their topic up and running for several days. And i think it wasnt the first exploit manual that person posted.

I guess I am apart of the small band of people who believe in skill and purity of the game.

I heard that someone posted a video on the forums last week about a topic they had and it showed them using multiple exploits. From what a guildy said yesterday, they were banned for it.

I don't know if there's any truth to that, but I would hope so.

Indeed? Would love to hear more proof of this, does Zos have any formal comments on this issue?

Us console players blame zos's bad decision to let maxed characters with 500 cp transfer over to console on launch.

Now that at least is an arguable position because you can prove that a player with 250 CP's has the upperhand on one with 0, 50...etc.

Which just isn't as simple with the macro accusations.

Well that is a different discussion, but hey buddy, I do understand the hardship of being a new player to a established game, but if u played this game and leveled a toon, you would want to use it. Sometimes i wonder if zos did that to hopefully get rid of pc players.

    Nope, squeaky wheel gets nothing.

There is a 39 plus page Templar thread about their issues and you know what ZOS did to that? They buried it and locked the date, so now new posts will not bump it back to front page of the combat section. So sad.

Well lately one of quite famous pvp players put a video in which he was porrving taht nimcrux is broken and exploited - in that video he was clearly himself using 2 of most common exploits, wonder if he got banned.
