Does the Nightblades 'Summon Shadow' count as a pet and triggers Necropotence ?

i have used my shade since beta and sadly it does not unlock / trigger Necropotence.

Even future question on this the "pet" bonus only applies to targetable adds as Shades or just a dodgable melee chaser buff it doesn't count under the pet system hope that clears up future questions you may have on the set. Shadows Guide You
