Need help with high elf dk mage build

I'm currently at v5 and noticing a big difference in the amount of damage i'm dealing compared to some other players. This is what my bars look like.
Bar 1: Inner Light, Structured Entropy, Hardened Armor, Burning Embers, Molten Whip and Standard of Might
Bar 2: Inner Light, Green Dragon Blood, Burning Talons, Engulfing Flames, Elemental Ring and Standard of Might
Max health and magic are at 19,000
Magic Recovery is at 1200

I have points in all light armor, ardent flame, racial and destruction staff passives.

I use the seducer armor set.
With hardened armor and green dragons blood I have no problem surviving but damage seems to be low.
I like to do dungeons but most of my time is spent soloing content.
Any help would be appreciated.

One thing I've done as a DK firemage, is drop entropy in favor of panacea of spellpower. This way you slot another damage skill like eruption, flames of oblivion etc. I also dropped atronoch in favor of the mage boon. It will give you a significant damage increase, at the cost of sustain.... but that's what the pots are for. You should also think about a different ultimate on your back bar, like shooting star. Having the same ultimate on both bars is convenient, but you are losing the utility of another ult. Food for thought.

One way to increase it is with a mundus stone that increases crit of some sort
forgot if there is one for specc dmg but the thief is always good if you want to do more dmg even on sorc

make sure youre using divines on your armor too

So is spell crit more important than regeneration? I have the atronach stone now. My spell crit is at 53% if that helps any.
Should spell damage be higher than 926?
Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to figure how to get better.

Hey there mate, I've recently switched my DK into a Magicka user and allocated one bar set up for a quick single target kill, and the other for the slow burn, AoE everything.

For the single target, I use Dual Wield and the bar set up as Molten Whip, Stone Giant, Molten Armaments, Inner Light, Coagulating Blood and Corrosive Armour. Stone Giant for a knock down and sometimes weaving Molten Whip between hard swings charged with Molten Armaments. Corrosive Armour for a little extra bang. Keep inner Light up for the extra crit.

For the AoE/Boss, I use Resto Staff for the added survivability and magicka generation in the set up of Burning Embers, Draw Essence, Choking Talons, Hardened Armour, Coagulating Blood with the Standard of Might (though I am curious if there ar better survivability options with the Resto line. Pop the Hardened Armour and Coagulating Blood as needed, run in, Burning Embers, Choking Talons (to keep them in place) Draw Essence (don't spam it) and drop the Standard of Might whenever needed.

Though if you have your pvp leveled up, I hear Caltrops/Detonation work really well.

The above certainly isn't the best set up, and I'm sure there are better alternatives as I've only been playing since June, but just giving some input on the way I play, and hope it helps.

It's not a skill, it's a potion you create.

I would love to use meteor but my mages guild is only at 6.
Are potions made from the alchemy skill line?

That's correct. Keep finding those books! As soon as I hit silver, I went book hunting.
