PS4 NA Server issues

I spent 2-3 hours trying to sign in last night, only to be disconnected constantly. I was hoping this issue would be fixed by today. Zenimax shocks me once again leaving this issue un resolved, and without acknowledgment of the issue.

EDIT: I have had my PS4turned off all night (not rest mode)

Can this not be fixed by a server maintenance restart?

I'm at a loss as to what to do next. I submitted a ticket and have yet to hear back (to be fair, I submitted it early this morning so it hasn't been that one). I updated and restarted my system and power cycled my router. I verified that my internet is fine as I can download updates and even deleted and reinstalled the entire game as well as was able to play Destiny with my friends and maintain a party chat. I've got the open ports and all the other stuff for making the ps4 run as smooth as possible online....it's definitely their server. I'd love for some sort of announcement to come out about it or for them just to do a restart. The thing that kills me is my friend is on right now and he lives 30 mins north of me...so there's something goofy going on.
