Do the treaure maps you collect around town or other areas ever have anything good in them?

The items scale to the zone lvl and can be pretty nice for ur lvl depending on what u already have equipped

They are also a nice source of soul gems and you may get luck and find something you need for crafting research. At lower levels the gold you get from them is nice for building up your funds (heck, I like getting "free" gold even at max level"),
