requesting character load... & Unable to connect to game server

    The "Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection." is getting really old now.
    I've been seeing so much of it these past 2 days, at first, I would experience unusually long load times, then it turned in to kicking me off every once in awhile. Then, it started kicking me off every loading screen. That was yesterday.
    Today, I can't even get past the loading screen after choosing my character.
    *** is going on, I just wanna play :( I just got my main to level 49 and I'm itching for that 50!
    And my internet connection is valid as ***, every game and app works fine on my Xbox One.
    Reaaallly need someone to fix this.

    Exactly the same issue, was fine last night. This morning around 10am GMT started getting unable to connect to game server messages every time I tried to log in to NA server which is where I primarily play as most friends in USA, 8 hours later still the same. Even if get in after multiple attempts at character load screen if use wayshrine cannot load map and disconnects. Nothing on my setup has changed in last 24 hours, Internet fine, other multiplayer games fine, European Server fine (have just checked) just ESO on NA server. Friend I'm playing with having exactly the same problem.

    I know posting here will not get any answers, just adding my voice!

    Now I have two characters that can't log in. You guys have so many patching and upgrade issues, I can't believe you haven't ironed out this process so many months after release.

    Anyone around or can we call them?

    Their number is supposedly 1-855-296-3170 but it likely doesn't work or isn't monitored.

    Oh I have their phone # but it's a 45min plus wait but the support team have no resolution options.
    Call as in the boss is what I'm referring to

    Still happening.
    Either you get DC'd and cant login anymore or yo cant login from the start.

    Its so random, and it cant be me, I can play ALL my online games without issues

    Same problem is happening to me. They keep telling me its my connection. I called Playstation support and they said it is a problem with ESO not my internet or anything. I have tried 30 times and it says "requesting character load..." then kicks me out saying "can not connect to server check internet connection"

    Same here it's so annoying I choose any character it says requesting character load and doesn't even go into the next load screen before I'm getting kicked off to the main screen again. They really need to fix this I even tried changing my internet connection to see if that was the issue and still nothing. This is really aggravating

    It didn't happen to me before the Thieves Guild DLC came out either I don't know what's going on but it's annoying..

    OK it's been happening to me for the last 8 hrs and I'm freaking sick of it. It's not my Internet bc I can do everything else online except eso. And not a peep from them.
