Change of PSN Account

Hi all,

I am not doing this just yet but am wondering in-case I decide to...

Is it possible to transfer my ESO account / character to a new PSN if I make one?

I am considering making a new PSN account but would like to keep my character.

Excellent question, I'm in similar debate with my PSN name.

Long story short, I basically was given a PS3 back 3 or so years ago from an ex. I didnt know at the time you could change or register new PSN names and all that, I was under the impression you could only have one PSN name per playstation lolol, so obviously I was mistakened. The problem is that the PSN name is rather girly, and Ive already spent hundreds on games for that account..... Might just have to wait it out and hope that Sony adds the name change option....which is probably not going to happen

Just to confirm, if I went ahead with this via the link, I would be able to transfer my characters to my new PSN account? Or does this only apply to my forum account?

I would like to have an answer to this specific question, too. Sorry for necro-posting, but my problem is exactly the same:

I have to unlink my old PSN-ID and link a new one, will i be able to play my character again after this change? In other words: is all of the progress (characters and so on) tied to just my ESOTU-account, so when i link it to a new PSN-ID i can access it all?

I already contacted customer support, they were not yet able to help. All i got were generic pre-written answers about character transfer, which i did not ask for.
