I don't care so much for the fish. With a little work you can eventually get all of the rare fish on any character. It was convenient for me to do the Daggerfall fish on my Daggerfall main, and the AD fish on my main angler (I had to make a Khajiit my primary angler), but I'm fine with not doing it that way.Hard choice which one I wanted to click more because:
1 I DONT CARE. It was handy, but also annoying that I could have a level 3 AD char with fish from Stonefalls in his achievement, but also kinda cool. In some ways, it would seem more fair for it to only apply to the char that earned it.
2 Once one char gets the achievement, it unlocks the color for all. Which brings me back to number one.

What I have a problem with is the collectibles that drop from mobs. Supposedly they did an audit that every character of every level can find a place where they can potentially get each of those collectibles. I think that's BS. Some of them are basically impossible to get for characters of certain alliances and levels. That's why I want ZOS to post the results of the audit they did so that we can see the locations where we can supposedly go to farm for each of those collectibles.
Come on ZOS, prove me wrong! Seriously, I would love to be proved wrong on this! If there actually are places where each and every one of these can be farmed by any character of any level in any alliance I want to know where they are! And they'd better not be gated behind group dungeons or something where there are just a handful of them and you have to group up and go through the content over and over to get them...

On to the topic, if it's an item intended to be found in order to get an achievement, then you should have to find it, not borrow the extra from your older brother or sister.
It's the difference between wrestling an alligator and keeping a tooth as proof, vs buying one at the local souvenir shop.
What I would like to see is the ability to click on the item under the achievement and have the description come up, without having to have the item in your inventory. This is for the monster trophies.
If regarding 'quest reward' trophies, they should be added to your collection just like anything else and accessible from the characters that have earned them.
Neither should take up inventory space.

ESO has a year old bug with Flesh Symbionyte that simply doesn't drop. I've killed almost 4k of theese Fleh atronachs or maybe more (Dolmens, yep) and had 0 drop.
So It's the only thing I need for ach-nt. And I don't care about all that redone system, that was the ZOS's issue, not mine bad luck.
No way.
ZOS forces my AD toon to go and grind again hundreds and thousands of atronachs (if I'm unlucky and someone would be). And to go where? To get zero XP for that?
That's even worser than fishing.

/soapbox exactly why would anyone want to tally "other". Is the open forum without voting not "other" enough for you? Anyways, what a petty thing...moving on.

The fact that you can't earn all of them retrospectively due to mobs not being available at veteran levels (e.g. nix hounds for ebonheart pact players) except gated behind group content in very limited numbers.Rev Rielle wrote: »It's a trophy, they're hardly worth their name if you can just trade them between characters.
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.

Since my personal experience is that for some (crypt jar, I'm looking at you) even the 1000 kills needed for the slayer achievement were not enough to have me get the trophy, I consider this change to essentially make it impossible for me to get the respective dyes (and since I'm a sucker for those I'm woefully disappointed).
I'm very fine with this change if trophies are dropped irrespective of level difference. Otherwise I just tick off to ignore another part of the game that would have occupied me quite some time.
...and have gone completely silent when asked whether this "possibility" included DSA or group dungeons. Which is my issue. Show me a place with veteran nix hounds that I can solo farm as an EP (that's my go-to example since it is the one that I am missing on the char that has collectd all of my trophies).Rev Rielle wrote: »The fact that you can't earn all of them retrospectively due to mobs not being available at veteran levels (e.g. nix hounds for ebonheart pact players) except gated behind group content in very limited numbers.Rev Rielle wrote: »It's a trophy, they're hardly worth their name if you can just trade them between characters.

They actually addressed this issue and spoke about in a previous ESO Live, and said that you would be able to, regardless of level, find suitable enemies to obtain all trophies off.
I love the dyes too, but as yet have not completed any collection with my main character (which I've been /playing for an embarrassingly long period of time). Maybe one day, I just see it as a very long term thing, and it's nice that MMOs have at least one or two of those for players I think.

Notice my non-vote, as you have not included options other than those that bias.
