I think it is because most "Trade Guilds" are not picky about whom they invite.
Nor, do they have many "rules" about what to sell, nor "suggested" prices.
They just want to be able to say "Look at us! We have 500 members!".

Blame it on the sheperds...not the sheep.

People just don't know any better. That's all.

I always get "Price Check" in my trade guilds for stupid things that no one would ever buy lol.

Actually, people DO buy non set rings. Get one with the base you need (Health/Magicka/Stamina) and add your own enchant to it (like Weapon Damage or Fire Resist) to fill a gap in your stats/gear.

I buy non-set rings and necklaces if I can't find the sets I am looking for. They tend to be better than nothing at all.

Are we playing the same game? Many of the trade guilds with guild traders are essentially monopolies that have requirements. Those that don't, I dunno how they got their spots, but they won't have them long.
Disabling the grass may improve performance.

why buy a non set ring ,,you can just buy any non set ring from a npc vendor.
my point do I waist so much time searching through these guild vendor and most of the time your scrolling through garbage.

zos should at least add some more option like search my name or search only set gears

Sometimes I feel sorry for some of the guys putting the things up for sale. For example, there was someone selling all the race motifs along with the daedric motif for 50g each. I snapped them all up and then looked at the seller. He was obviously new to the game and because of this, I gave him more gold and returned his daedric motif. I think he said he had been given it and didn't know what it was.

Noobs tend to fill the stores with vendor trash. I think everyone figures out sooner or later what sells and what does not.

Might have been a guild bank robber too.

The "monopolies" that you refer too only exist in the top trading spots like Rawl'kha and the capitol cities. There are several (and I mean SEVERAL) "non-monopolistic" guilds in game already. Usually in areas by the road or in less populated cities. I may not know which server your on, but there are several places to get a guild trader if you stop trying to land the top spots.

Is it nirnhoned? That white bow might be worth that price

tbh, idk what the going rate is on pc even, but console prices are much higher
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!
