Group Finder question

I noticed when ever I try to use Group Finder to do a dungeon all it seems to do is group me with similar level players but I see no place to travel to the dungeon, am I missing something?

In most MMOs when a group is filled games will prompt you to travel to that instance, but don't see one here, am I blind?

there isn't an automatic prompt for traveling to the dungeon sadly.

however, you can travel to other group members, you appear at the closest way shrine to them OR inside the dungeon if you select someone inside the dungeon/trial.

God that's a horrible design flaw. I just started playing the game, but noticed the few times I have used Group Finder that the groups tend to quickly dissolve and disband.

Other MMOs I've played will prompt you and your group to travel to the dungeon instance. This whole "get there yourself" approach seems a bit odd to me. I don't even have anything clearly indicating which dungeon I'm supposed to travel to if I pick the any dungeon option.

And what if the dungeon the game picks is located on a section of map that you haven't been to before and don't have a wayshrine to travel to? I've tried traveling to my group leader or another group member, but they tend to just keep grinding their quests that they were on, so it's all a waste of time.

Taking into account there are NO viable communication options in this game (even the voice chat is garbage) you'd THINK they'd make the game easy to group up and send you to the instances.

You could solve this issue by joining party chat and communicating with your group. So many wasted hours trying to get a dungeon run and I have to leave the group because members won't join voice.

LOL, voice is great IF it's working AND everyone is close by, which usually they're not I've noticed. I'll travel to the leader in the hopes ppl will group up, but I've noticed at least in low level regular dungeons it's like trying to herd cats.

They really should implement a way to travel to the dungeon instance, just common sense. That way everyone can get there fast and more or less at the same time.

If you join the party chat channel you dont have to be nearby to communicate. In the social>voice section itll say party channel and when you (or party members soeak) itll show up in blue

well i hate using voice chat because im socially shy so thats why i dont use it lol

i usually also send people a message to come by.



this is kind of a side question.

when ever i try to do dungeons with my friend, the que never ends until eventually it just unques itself out of nowhere...

so what should me and my friend do to do dungeons together? it seems like i only get in a group when im not grouped with anyone but i wanna play it with my friend...
