They say itemisation is one of the big challenge in removing the veteran levels.
And in the same time added new materials, new ways of getting them and most of all, a whole new crafting rule where the last level cost 10 times more mats to craft than the previous one.

Good luck guys trying to replicate such non-sense without the vet levels.

Maybe I'll just skip the vet 15-16 stuff and wait for the 17-18 with Orsinium and stack up some mats in order to craft my 11k ingots sword.

BTW, a vr16 bow is 12 000 telvar stones (or 120 decrafted vet15-16 wood stuff)

    funny thing is.. the vr16 stats are such a small increase compared to rank 15 gear.. these ridiculous amounts of matts needed to be able to craft gear that matches your lvl kinda turns me down a bit :-\ I'm probably going to get myself some rank 15 gear and upgrade to purple, depending on how much stat difference it is on my legendary rank 14 gear.

    For min/maxers it doesn't really matter how much it costs, they will go for it anyway. It's more of a challenge and I don't mind, crafting in this game actually always have been fairly easy and cheap, which is great to try different stuff out. So if you don't want to just make vr15 gear which is basically the same.

    Yeah. I really wonder WTF ZOS management is thinking with this DLC. The decisions they made on these changes just don't seem very well thought out.

    The fact that they are only selling this DLC for the PVP class was a very poor decision as far as generating revenue. Seriously, who creates a DLC to just sell to "part" of the player base. When your in something for making a profit, you want EVERYONE to buy it....not just a certain player base....

    Instead of fixing the spells that are broken, they change everything else BUT them. Oh, people are getting 1 shotted and shield stacking is a joke. So lets reduce damage, shields and healing by 50%. That should offset it....

    And then to top that off, the material needs for the V16 items, what a total joke. If they are going to require 10 times the materials, the damage rewards/bonuses should be as well!

    Are people really going to stay long term if they keep doing things like this with every DLC that comes out?

    I think not....

    Their testing our limits to see how much we can be trolled before leaving.....I mean, we're all still here even after being trolled for more than 8 months...now their rolling the troll on thicker than ever. Those that stick around will never leave :p

    Oh sure they will. Everyone has a breaking point and for those that are remaining in the game, it's getting really close.....

    Leave for 6 months and then come back. That usually does wonders for being able to enjoy the game again. It lets you enjoy the fun things and the annoying things decrease in intensity for a while.

    After a week of playing on pts every night on two chars (40 + hours or so) i noticed i had 6 planks collected haha

    The glass bow looks awesome but i dont think i will have the motif before christmas lol

    Don't bother.

    Swords will be made from provisioning mats, specifically those that drop from Mountain Turtles found only in the desert wastelands of Orsinium.

    Because this is what they do. They change things this way and they don't consider if or how it makes sense.

    They will find a way to counter whatever counter you already have in mind. Of this, I am sure.

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...
