Does anyone else Feel the Elf Haircuts of ESO are lacking (Please ZoS return the Ice Cream Swirl)

Fortunately, Orcs have their traditional topknots. Why don't the Bosmer, Altmer and Dunmer have their traditional ice cream swirl style?

I was watching a soccer match yesterday in a restaurant. I had no idea there were so many variation to a mohawk! From black dudes with short dreads sticking up, to flowing horse tails, to one that was softly curly and looked a lot like a cockscomb. I am all for many hairstyles (though the softserve swirl was kind of silly looking).

And this is why Nords beat Mer. We don't spend hours staring at a mirror trying to get the perfect hair cause we "have" to look fancy on the battle field. We just shake our heads let the hair fall were it be and charge into battle in less than 1 minute.

Oh, and that's why Nords have to have perfectly coifed braided beards and curls and waves and ponytails. Riiiiiight. To be fair I generally prefer playing human characters, but I always got a laugh out of the ice cream swirl, and I felt it was part of what made the elves look so exceptionally alien in TES games. I really think it'd be great to bring the swirl back, if only as a nod to tradition.

The elf swirl style did not appear until 2E 945 when the High-Elf hairstylist Vidalnor Zassonith broke with tradition and shocked Summerset Isles with his daring up-doos. So outraged where the Thalmor that he was immediately exiled and forced to flee for his life to Cyrodiil.

It is said he styled the hair of Tiber Septim himself, which played no small part in Tiber's rise to Talos, the 9th divine.

True story.

I have only played wood elves so far and I think the styles are decent. Is there a site somewhere that shows them all?

There are plenty of sites out there if you look. Google is helpful in that regard. Understand though, I'm simply talking about the way elves looked in past TES games, and the styles they are using in ESO. I'd just like to see some of those whacky styles on NPC's and Players alike. It'd be fun, and maybe just a bit nostalgic. It would be nostalgic in the same way that I wish we could hear some of the old scores from Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim as well. I'm not sure they can do that contractually, but it would be really cool if they did.
