Does ESO Have Any Fierce/Intimidating Looking Gear?

I enjoy ESO gameplay wise and got to veteran rank 1 before putting the game to one side. I just couldn't get over the fact that the gear looked so plain and uninspiring.


For example, I was hoping Daedric gear would look something like this - orig05.deviantart.net/1941/f/2014/197/4/a/daedric_armor_by_satanssidekick-d7r12lc.jpg

But instead it apparently looks like this - i58.tinypic.com/2echziw.jpg


I never got close to endgame so I don't know if any of the higher level gear looks any better, but even my character at veteran rank 1 looked like he'd just thrown on some noob gear.


Does it get any better at higher levels?

A lot can be done with dyes, and of course, there are some nice and intimidating looks to be gained from undaunted helmets/shoulders...

And of course, we all keep hearing about the new PvP sets that will come out with imperial city...

yup so far almost all armor designs are fail, even compared to the ugly armors of other ES games. Here's hoping the future endgame stuff gets interesting-looking.

Well, there is always Barbaric, for those times when you really want to wear a skull as a helmet. Also, the new Imperial Daedric motif in the IC is pretty badass looking. Not exactly Skyrim, but it's close. Also, if you're a sorc, you could always morph Bound Armor to Bound Armaments for those visuals.

the new EP PvP armours in IC. THe heavy armour looks sick as all hell.

True, the ingame armors are crappy compared to their concept arts. Its a real shame.

True, the ingame armors are crappy compared to their concept arts. Its a real shame.

The Dunmer armour has insane concept art and then ingame it's so disappointing
