Question about hotkeys..

Is it possible to have abilities 1-5 have different hotkeys for weapon 1 and weapon 2? Like could ability 5 be hotkey C for weapon 1 and D for weapon 2. Any tricks? Seems it has to be the same...

Just making sure there are no tricks to activate weapon switches by abilities used to save a key press.

I'm not sure why you feel a need to do it. You choose which skills to put in which slots, so you can arrange for whichever key you want for whichever slot.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do.

You can have two keys mapped to the same slot so you likely can do what you're asking, look at the Keybind part of the settings UI.

He probably finds it easier to think in terms of layouts if his swap bar differ. If they don't differ, then each button means two different effects. Also, you would immediately know which bar you're on if you're pressing 8 rather than 3 and having some effect - or no effect.

If you are asking whether you can use the abilities of 2 different weapon bars without switching between the bars first, the answer is no.

You cannot map skill 1 from Bar A to D and Skill 1 from Bar B to E,

You can map skill 1 from Bar A to D but them Skill 1 from Bar B would also be D,

It's not hard to switch weapons anyway. I don't zoom much, so I actually bound weapon 1 to scroll mouse up and weapon 2 to scroll mouse down. It's literally no hassle to weapon swap with this method.
