Activating ultimates and synergies ps4

So I've never seen mention of this on the forums and not sure where to post it, do many other people have the problem when they activate these it makes them use abilities in either of the respective button binds, it can be really infuriating as a healer when I need to heal but my time is spent being forced to use other abilities

Try to have skills that are toggle-based and/or need a target and look down/away when dropping an ulti :P

Mine does that too. On PS4 and every time after an ultimate is used it casts my L1 ability even though I'm not a button masher and know I didn't press L1 twice. It's very annoying. I also randomly cast the same ability twice in rapid succession even though I only hit the button once. Then other times I cast an ability, it uses my resource and makes the animation but nothing happens, most of the time it's when I'm casting the burst ability for increased speed.

Are you referring the Ultimates and Synergies that are a Channel? As in cast over time? This is why I don't use those (I am on PC). I don't think I have ever even built up the Templar Healing Ultimate for this very reason. I don't even think I put a point into it.

Fortunately, most Synergies are instant and you can go on and do something else.

For me it happens with the instant ones. I don't remember the ability names but it's not a channel.

I tend to hit my LB a little faster than MY RB, so I usually end up casting that spell before I get my ultimate off (Xbox). I tend to assign a self-heal or quick buff to that slot (LB). So I don't miscast something bad.

I also cast my (B) button spell a lot when exiting menus in town.. so I try not to assign an AOE damage spell there too.
