Best off hand weapon for stamina NB?

The idea I was thinking of when creating my NB was to have a dual wielding assassin-type character with a bow as the second weapon. I need to know if this is a viable option for both PvE and PvP (the later I will be doing later on). If not, what would be the better choice for an off-hand weapon? Lastly, are daggers the best weapon to use for a stamina based NB, or should I be using swords, or one of each? Thanks for your input
