My Clannfear I Dies Instantly Upon Summoning. What is going on???

Most of the time when I summon my Clannfear I, he dies instantly. What the hell is going on? Every once in a while he will survive and function like he is supposed to, but that is extremely rare. I am lv. 10.

You might have pressed the button twice, which will unsummon your pet. The visuals and audio cue for unsummoning is the same with the pet dying.

I have tried pressing it once, holding the button down to cast, and then just keeping the button held down which enables it to stay alive but only until I let go of O. I will try again I guess.

If you swap to your secondary skill bar without the Clanfear skill being allocated to the second bar it will kill the Clanfear.

If your on the PC, you might try changing the Double Click threshold on the Mouse. It might be set a bit too quick interpreting one click as two over time. If your on the console I don't think there is a sensitivity for the buttons, but there might be. But, it maybe your batteries are wearing down. Try another controller or a wired controller if your batteries are fresh.

Finally, as mentioned above, you need to have the Pet slotted on both bars if your weapon swapping as it will only be up when the slotted skill is on an active bar.

OK, one more thing. The pets seem to go poof on every other cell load unless you go into a Bank, so just recall them when that happens.
