Became a Vet today

So today I finally became a Vet 1 on my xbox. It took awhile longer than I planned due to playing pvp from 33-49.
Honestly I find this game plently enjoyable. I am looking forward to leveling up to more Vet ranks and I even spent my first CP.

Now my thoughts on the game
Pvp: I only played a Non-vet campaign (Hestra) but I met a lot of really good friends. I can't really complain about anything here. Other than the lag.

Pve: Again I have no problems. Dungeons are for the most part fun to do and I like killing things.

The only real beef I have with any part of this game is the fact that skyshards don't carry over. I get it, you want me to find them each time. But its just boring. It takes time away from me doing other things. I found them once bah!

I know, I know. If you don't have to unlock them then you can start a new character with 50 skill points. That'd be bad. Maybe they could level lock the shards to the zone you found them in? So every 10 levels you'd get the shards?

But anyway...I am looking forward to now leveling my Nightblade up to 10 so I can begin pvping with that character. I'll see you guys out there!

Back in my day games didn't let skills and items from other characters transfer over! You had to do everything again! However, not having as much time to grind like I used to I feel your pain.

I'm glad you became a Vet. I have a pet guar that looks a bit sick, do you mind checking if everything is alright with him ?

Its not that I am not used to a grind of one form or another. Usually they are optional. But you need skyshards for skillpoints, that are then used to make your character more powerful. Your limited without them. Thats what bugs me I guess.

I think I get the theme here, as I have been on this treadmill for a while...

So you're saying you started a new alt (to play with friends in non-vet), and are back to leveling to-from 10 again?

Perhaps the underlying issue is why can't a VET player be "down scaled" scaled to play in the non-vets? If that's the problem I'd like a solution as well (6 alts re-leveled rather than purse further into VET). Can there not be an option to scale?

I guess that'd work. I leveled out from the Hestra campaign that had all my friends in it. I'm currently taking a break from pvp though and am leveling my vet now. But soon I'll be going back.
