Best vampire Build

SquilliamTheWiz
Just wanted to hear some feedback on what you guys think is the best vampire build. So far I like the Templar, due to the self heals allows you to actually wield a weapon beside the restostaff to keep yourself alive. Ive got several builds started with each class (I have all 8 character slots filled) but most are low level and I am not sure where to take them build wise?

Magicka Nightblade vamp has been really good for me. I don't use any of the actual Vamp Abilities but the sneak speed bonus combined with Concealed weapon + double take. I actually move faster in stealth than I do out of it.

I have a VR 1 nightblade, it seems to be a class best suited for a stamina build.Especially because all the good skill morphs scale from weapon damage and max stamina. Its hard to stay alive without a restoration staff. This would be fine but it takes up 2 skills in my ability bars and most of the nightblades moves are damage over time which irks me. I wanted to use a lot of burst dps without spamming the same moves. but seeing how most of the moves that deal upfront damage requires a weapon that has all damage scaling from max stamina I feel myself unable to deal burst damage without behing incredibly repetitive. @Kobaal

I have a lot of success as a vampire sorc.

I use full light armor with all magicka boosting enchantments, and a frost staff for pve and a flame staff for pvp.

When in pve I go frost clench, crystal frag, invigorating drain, clannfear, restoring twilight, and devouring swarm as my ultimate. My general strategy is to stay in stage 4 and use my ultimate as much as possible (when nessesary at least) then when its on cooldown use invigorating drain to recover extra ultimate in order to get devouring swarm back. Frost clench is a great cc ability and it doesnt make enemies immune to drain, and then of course crystal frags is a must for all sorcs.

For pvp i run force pulse and mist form instead of my pets. I also have hardened ward and annulment on my alt bar for defense.

Yea Ive been testing out my sorc build. I used a Breton for the light armor magika and spell resistance. Im having some luck with it, the dps output is very nice, and the summons are good at taking the heat off, and the abilities like increased movement speed and teleport come in quit handy. @Willy8257 Thanks for the input!

Even though I have not become a vampire(yet) people should know that the Ideal Vampires should & always be dark elves thanks to their natural resistance to fire, thus weakening or even mitigating the vampires weakness to fire. Since they are partly/mostly stealthy, they make pretty good nightblades.
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

I run a dunmer NB magicka vamp, essentially concealed blade etc but the class that gets the most from vampirism is the DK green dragon blood pairs nicely with vamp passive, elusive mist gives dks an escape mechanism.

Honestly it's negligible, the dunmer passives amount to a jewelry enchant for fire resistance. It's a small percentage of mitigation that would help versus a fire bolt

Breton has increased spell resistance which helps negate fire damage along with increased light armor xp which allows for the light armor passive of about 1600 spell resistance when maxed out. The dunmer is a race that's bread and butter is the DK because of the increased fire damage. Its a waste of really good passive abilities to choose a dunmer of any other class, I learned that the hard way.

I just started a Dunmer Dk last night, I really like the damage shields, and self healing abilities. we will see how it progresses into a higher level but for the most part I have really enjoyed this gameplay style of the in your face combat mechanics
