New console player has absolutely stupid question regarding the map

It there a simpler way to access the world map on PS4 than opening the journal, going to quests, and clicking square to show on map? If so, I'd love to know how. I have searched the menus, as well as google, and have come up with nothing. Thanks for helping out a newcomer.
