Change appearance of items

As I am collecting more and more different stylebooks, I realise more and more how "useless" they are.
Top quality items and those that are considered "the best" should contain a mix of crafted and dropped items. ESO does good in that!
BUT dropped items have a fixed look. This fixed look does not always fit the look of the items I am wearing and most probably not the look that I want my character to have.
Therefore I suggest (and I'm sure I am not the first one to suggest that) the implementation of:
1. A way to change the appearance of items like the "imperial system". (Less desirable, because a Storm Knight Helm should always look like a Storm Knight Helm)
2. A broader variety of ingame costumes, accessible through the collections system. Finishing a quest related to a disguise could add that disguise to collections.
3. Vanity item slots proudly presented to you by the Illusion school of magic. I'd like an NPC, who takes gold for analyzing the look of an item and putting the spell on you. Gold sink is always good, right?
