@ZOS would you allow us to skip silver / gold quests by character IF AFTER...completing all on one

Since the restriction on accessing the gold zones will be removed soon, I don't think that is necessary at all. You can just go and grab all the skyshards instead if you don't want to do the quests. That should give you enough skill points for most builds. If you really need more points after that, do the quests if you really need to.

Where did you see that the gold zone lock was removed?

I only saw that we could choose whether to start one alliance or another. Gold zone would still be the third alliance. The change is only the order of completion so it suggests that gold is still locked. I could be wrong but it doesn't read as tho both silver and gold zones are going to be unlocked at level 50(vr1)

Perhaps clarification is needed, as there's always the possibility that your assumption is actually correct...

But the general understanding from what has been said by Gina and others is that you will get access to BOTH of the other two alliances (simultaneously) as soon as you hit Level 50 or complete the main quest line, whichever comes first. It would be incredibly stupid to do nothing more than give us a choice of which zone to make "silver" and which to make "gold" and still lock one alliance behind the other. I would highly doubt they are doing that.
