Shade is not working /adding up to decrease Sneak cost as it should.

Lets do the math shall we,

7 pcs of Medium armor -49% to Sneak cost.
4 skill points in Hiding (Legerdemain skill line) -40% to Sneak cost.

total for those two, -89% for Sneak cost

56 CP in the Shade which should decrease -11% for Sneak cost.

That adds up to lets count this,

-100% to Sneak cost.

So how come I still have a Sneak cost.

ok maybe I need more,

so I put 63 CP in the Shade, that is -12% to Sneak cost.

that is a total of -101% to sneak cost and guess what ?

Nope, still get a Sneak cost..

    It has a hardcap no the cp sneak stuff is for non nightblades

    it doesn't matter if its for non nightblades, it has nothing to do with them, the numbers don't add up. you could be a sneaky Templar with 7 pcs of Medium, 4 skill pts in Hide and alot of CP in Shade and cant get a no cost for sneak.

    it would be multiplicative stacking and not additive stacking hence why you cant get to 100%. It would be intended.

    It may also be a different sort of reduction formula that I have seen in other games.

    So instead of Beginning Cost - (% cost decrease) = Actual Cost

    Which might end up with a 100% cost decrease and therefore no actual cost, it could be more like this:

    Beginning Cost/(1+% cost decrease) = Actual Cost

    This would mean that a 100% cost decrease would actually end up giving you a 50% actual cost decrease

    The Maximum cost decrease that the SHADE constellation gives is like 15.87 % (less than 16%) so your telling me that for 100 CP (that you wasted) you would only get like 7.9% Sneak cost decrease..

    Nah.... I just think it's broken.. especially if the Powers that be, ZOS, don't comment on if the cost decrease is supposed to stack or if Sneak cost has a hard cap ???

    I never saw a nb passive that reduces sneak costs. Are you sure it exists?

    Somone needs to lay off the sugar. Is this really bothering you to the point that you cannot go back to enjoying the game? Have you tried doing your own research? There is no use trying to get forum moderators to answer your question they have more important things to do. Be a big boy and figure it out for youtself or just let it go.

    I do enjoy the game, I love the game but it annoys me at times that the powers to be cannot, or will not answer simple questions about the game mechanics. and yes I have tried to do my own research...have you read the above 1st initial post. My one regret is when the Champion system 1st came out I didnt test it then. oh and yes I am a big boy, so far I figured out that its not working correctly, IMO (in my opinion), and no I wont drop it. the information should be told to us, and if it is not working correctly then it should be fixed like any other bug/problem.

    The guys right it must be bugged. I'm using nightshade set which puts me at -113 and I actually gain stamina while sneaking. The same should be true when using shade in constellation tree, or at least reduce to no penalty.

    I'll help bumping this. What nice, friendly people like @Reeko can't seem to wrap their heads around is that the question is whether the constellation is bugged or is designed to be worthless.

    The tests performed and documented in the first post show that it is not stacking. The question to be answered is whether this is intended or not.

    So, is it possible to get a confirmation/refutation of the bug status of shade?
