Stam Templar Heavy Armor?

deathskulls22b14_ESO
So ive read a few things for the Stam Temp and most of them use medium armor...I was wondering if anyone has came across one that deals good dps with Heavy Armor...I just don't like the look of medium armor

Armor type is a pretty major component of your build. So, if people are saying go medium (for the stealth, weapon crit, whatever) you should probably take that seriously.

If it's just an aesthetic issue, then you can grab a heavy armor disguise or costume and wear that.

Alas apart from the Breton stuff there isn't one.

my stamina templar is 5 heavy/2 medium.

Off the top of my head, there's Nord, Dunmer, and Redguard heavy armor disguises.

Having 5 or more Medium Armor pieces offers several boosts to flat damage and sustain for Stamina based builds. You could make some of that up with massive amounts of CP, but in the end those using Medium will always do more damage.

You could use 2 pieces of heavy and still get most of the benefits from medium though.

I run a stamina templar alt in heavy armor.
She is probably my most effective character so far... sure, doesn't do the burst damage of a nightblade or sorc, or any stamina class in medium armor... but the combination of heavy armor, two-handed maul (brawler - shielding attack and rally for attack boost and some mini heals) and templar heals makes her very tough. Some weak (but at level) mobs couldn't even kill me if I did nothing - just the normal health recovery is enough to offset what damage they can slip past the armor... ;)
